Marketing Communications Executive

Requisites

  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent professional qualification
  • Scope of knowledge cover key aspects of marketing, media relations, events management and other areas within the practice
  • Proficient in MS Office and Dreamweaver, Filemaker, Freehand/Illustrator, Pages, Photoshop, etc, in a Mac environment
  • Excellent written, communication and organization skills
  • Adaptable to hectic schedule, handling multiple projects and multi-task well under minimal supervision
  • Commendable follow-through on assigned tasks
  • Self-motivated, independent and resourceful, with initiative
  • Prior working experience in a similar line is a plus

Job Description

Reporting to the Marcom Manager, responsibilities of the appointed Marcom Executive include:

  • Develop a good knowledge of the company, product line and global target markets
  • Contribute to expand the visibility of Pixelmetrix and its product line through editorial coverage, industry reports, product reviews, etc
  • Assist with the production and dissemination of press releases, eNews, product literature and miscellaneous announcements
  • Administer the logistics of tradeshows, conference engagements and special events to promote branding for the company and product line
  • Liaise with members of the media, vendors, business associates and execute advertising and promotions campaigns
  • Maintain marcom reports (press coverage, expenses, etc), press mailing lists, coverage archives, product literature supply, partners/product registration programme and website updates
  • Support the team to achieve short-term and long-term objectives of the marketing communications function
