Pixelmetrix Packs More Punch In Its New DVStor² Disaster Recovery Solution

DVStor² provides automatic playout of previously recorded content, in the event of any upstream disruption.  The simple playlist and EPG search functions enable combining historical and evergreen material, putting broadcasters back on the air quickly, making the DVStor² the perfect solution for disaster recovery standby system.

DVStor² can export content as SPTS/Quicktime movie/MPG files. The new IP playback function can also handle multiple audio streams as well as embedded DVB subtitles.  Its high-density storage allows for long-term recording capability - ideal for quality audits and compliance recording.  Robust, reliable and scalable architecture, DVStor² features RAID-6 and redundant power supplies to further protect archived content.

Other preventive monitoring solutions in the demo lineup at this event include the new Consolidator™ - Network Management System, StationView™ for Simple Effective Monitoring, as well as the DVStation-Mini² 8VSB for ATSC DTV terrestrial broadcast networks.
