Pixelmetrix Danny Wilson to speak at BES Expo 2013, New Media Technology & Multiplatform Strategy Session

Singapore, January 29, 2013 – Danny Wilson, Pixelmetrix President and CEO, will be speaking at the BES (Broadcast Engineering Society) Expo Conference during the New Media Technology and Multiplatform Strategy Session, scheduled for Thursday, January 31 at 11.30 am.

During his presentation entitled "New" Media Is Still Media.  So What's Different Now?, he will touch on the changing face of broadcasting, as well as the ever changing mechanism of media distribution, with noteworthy highlights on OTT.

"The increasing ways content can be distributed has spread available advertising dollars thinner, and pirated downloads stealing subscription revenues – making it even more challenging to be in this business today.  This BES New Media Technology and Multiplatform Strategy session provides a great window to discuss such relevant issues," said Danny Wilson.

Wilson is a frequent speaker at broadcast television conferences and educational conventions in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.  He is currently a member of the IPTV workgroup in Singapore. Previously, he served as the Editor for the Performance Monitoring/Quality of Service workgroup of the ITU-T/IPTV-FG.

BES Expo is held over three days from January 29 to 31, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
